It hasn't been widely publicized, but the man has a stuttering problem.
The pauses are part of he training to overcomt the problem - stopping to
think about how to say the next thing. I don't know how many of you have
ever dealt with a stutterer, but speaking like this is how they talk. If
you want to watch a good treatment of the subject, get a hold of a copy
of the movie "The King's Speech." It is about the King preparing to make
a speech to the English people at the beginning of WWII, as he had a
speech problem like this, and how he found someone to train him how to
overcome it.
As for all the other political comments and abuse - grow up! I happen to
believe the opposite, that we will be a while repairing all the damage
Trump did to the country and especially the government. Most of his
entire term was an example of 'the big lie', and the amazing part of it
all is that no one stood up and called him on it.
A good example of this is the so-called "Wall" that was going to keep all
the illegal aliens out, and that Mexico was going to pay for. Anyone is
his right mind realized that there was no way Mexico was going to pay for
anything. There are actual clips on YouTube showing people scaling the
wall and crossing over to the other side with no problems what-so-ever.
Maybe if it was topped with electrified barbed wire and manned for its
entire length it might have worked, but that solution would have cost
more that what it costs the economy to have illegals amonst us.
I challenge anyone to list five promises Trump made that he actually
carried through on that had a positive result. One negative thing near
and dear to my heart was his working to get the current Postmaster
General appointed. The man did everything he could to make it almost
impossible to vote by mail. I know I didn't get a chance to do so because
of the problems he caused in the Postal Service as far as dismantling
equiment and cutting staffs right before the election. My request for an
absentee ballot had to travel no more than ten miles to get to my county
offices here in a suburb of Kansas City, Yet it took over five days to
get there, thus making it miss the cutoff date. The two locations share
the same area Post Office, and even if it had to go to the main office to
get sorted it shouldn't have taken that long to do so.
